Elliot Denburg (born in New Jersey, USA) is a contemporary artist based in Antigua Guatemala, whose work explores the interaction between natural elements and intensely narrative visual imagery.

His artistic career began early, influenced by visits to the studios of renowned artists like Willem de Kooning and Helen Frankenthaler, with whom he discussed art. These experiences, along with conversations with sculptor Tony Smith in South Orange, New Jersey, shaped his deep understanding of artistic expression and form.

Over 38 years, Denburg worked as a colorist and designer at Mitchell Denburg Mills, where he managed factory operations while continuing to cultivate his passion for painting. This experience provided him with an intrinsic knowledge of color, texture, and composition, elements that have been fundamental in his work. His style is marked by the combination of illustrative elements with a narrative approach, creating compositions rich in meaning. Each piece tells a visual story, resulting from experimentation with technique and color, positioning him as a unique voice in the contemporary art scene.
