Joe Bondanella

Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, he was known mostly for his artistic talents by friends, family classmates and even teachers.

During his years as an adolescent, his artistic talents developed a reputation eventually garnering the undesired attention of school administrators. Despite the praise and admiration from some of his teachers, he was often disciplined for applying too much time and effort in drawing rather than his studies.

After remarkably graduating from N.E. High School in 1998, he aspired to become a cartoonist and professional photographer. He attended Broward Community College studying fine art, photo journalism and finally architecture design.

As of 2013, he has been very active in the local art community throughout south Florida. In May of 2013, he won the Mizner Park Photo contest and the following year his photography was featured in a local wildlife calendar. In February 2020, he won best in show at the Uncommon Art Gallery, for his mixed media collage on canvas. Allen A.D. is honored to be involved in the Art Tree Relief project.
